About CleverOgre
Born in branding, raised on web design, and proudly serving up fresh creative since 2008!
Founded in 2008 as a Branding Agency
We opened our doors in 2008 as a creative branding agency, bringing fresh ideas and strategic thinking to every project. We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built and the results we’ve delivered over the years.
Found our niche in Website Development
Over time, we discovered our true calling in crafting impactful, user-friendly websites. Today, web development sits at the heart of what we do, blending design and technology to help our clients thrive online.
We’re Problem Solvers
Our work is centered around serving small to medium-sized businesses, non-profit organizations, and municipal entities. We understand their unique needs and help them solve their problems by making the most of their resources while amplifying their impact.
Original Designs, Custom Solutions, all locally based in the USA
Every project we take on is built from scratch — no cookie-cutter templates here. Our team delivers original designs and custom-built solutions, all created locally in the USA to ensure quality, collaboration, and personal service.
Ogrivacious
Possessing Ogre-sized enthusiasm tempered with a little swampy charm and monstrous creativity.
Team CleverOgre
Read more about our team of owners.
Highly caffeinated, slightly inappropriate, terrifyingly effective.
We’re a hands-on team of owner-operators, which means the people you meet are the same ones rolling up their sleeves to design, build, and launch your project. We take pride in being directly involved in every step, blending creative vision with technical know-how to deliver results that truly reflect our clients’ goals.
Chris Dadant
After receiving his BA focusing in digital media, Chris Dadant moved to the Florida Gulf Coast and graduated from the University of West Florida with a BA focusing in advertising. Chris began his professional journey with CleverOgre as a designer in the fall of 2008. He now spends his days designing websites, designing logos and ad designs while drinking ridiculously strong coffee. If he isn’t talking, don’t worry, he’s probably got some wild idea brewing inside that hairy mug of his.
In 2017, Chris and his family relocated down Highway 98 to Santa Rosa Beach, FL, where he continues to handle the creative side of things for CleverOgre. When not in the office, you’ll find him with his wife and two kids on the beaches of South Walton, at a local brewery, checking out some live music or knee deep in some sort of DIY project.

Ways to Connect:
Nora Emling
As CEO and CFO of Clever Ogre, Nora Emling bridges the gap between technical solutions and client goals. She has a knack for translating complex tech concepts into language that makes sense, helping clients feel confident navigating the digital advertising world.
Like all the Ogres, Nora wears many hats, overseeing budgets and billing, managing projects, and handling the day-to-day communications that keep things running smoothly. Her open mind, conversational approach, and creative thinking help her solve problems in unexpected ways.
Nora graduated from UWF with a degree in Hospitality Recreation and Resort Management, which translates surprisingly well to working with clients and creative teams. A Leadership Pensacola (LeaP) Class of 2022 alumna, she’s deeply involved in her community. She serves on the board of Friends of the Saenger (where she also works as House Manager), volunteers as a Reading Pal with Ready Kids!, and is an active member of Westerngate Toastmasters. When she’s not building community or catching live music, you’ll find her with her book club or spending time with her husband Justin.

Ways to Connect:
Jevon Young
Jevon Young has worn many hats over the years, due in part to suffering from an insatiable curiosity and love of learning new things. His experiences include time in tech, healthcare, higher education, communications, and interior design industries.
This wide range of experiences, coupled with the lessons learned from reading anything he can get his hands on, has left Jevon able to create and edit content in any number of subject areas. His experience with analyzing and optimizing communication channels and interfaces has led Jevon to take the lead on UX design here at CleverOgre, too.
When we let him out of the Cave, Jevon enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughters exploring the huge diversity of natural areas along the Gulf Coast, finding and sharing new music, and engaging in an absurd amount of home renovation projects.
