The Ogres Are Going Remote!

Really, it just made sense for us: The same Ogre Team, now without the commute.

After eleven-plus years of renting out some of the coolest (if not cheapest) spaces in Downtown Pensacola, our team is going remote.

Really, going remote just made sense for us. At least 95% of our days are spent behind our monitors: designing, coding, writing, populating and fine-tuning custom WordPress-based websites, one-of-a-kind themes and effective logos for our super-awesome clients.

Don’t get us wrong, we loved inhabiting a communal space for all those years, playing the occasional Foosball game, a quick round of OgreOfficeMiniGolf© or an impromptu dart tournament with a frosty beverage. The truth is, however, that we were already doing most of our team communication online. Slack-ing each other (yes, even from across the room), meeting with local and national clients on Zoom, sharing files on Dropbox — that’s where we were already getting all of our work done. So, it seemed a bit archaic and inefficient to get up every morning and drive to the office when we could just get right to work at home.

What Does This Mean for You, Our Clients?

For most of you, the only difference is where you’ll send mail to us: Our new mailing address is: CleverOgre, 707 E. Cervantes St. Suite B #153, Pensacola, FL 32501.

For our meetings, we’ll get together via phone conferences or on Zoom, an online video conferencing platform. Don’t worry, you won’t have to download any apps or software, just click the link we send you in an email and make sure your computer’s camera and mic are on. That’s it! Not only is it easy, but it will also save you time, too — no more driving to our office to see your favorite Ogres.

Really, really want to see us all up close and personal? In most cases, we can come to your location here in the greater Pensacola and Destin areas. Just give us a call and we’ll make an arrangement that works for all of us. If you need us to travel outside of our normal stomping grounds, we can discuss whatever arrangements are necessary to make it happen.

In the end, going remote is a natural evolution for us. Same Ogre Team, just less of a commute. Win-win!
